Q: What is the Guest list now allowed ?

75% of legal occupancy up to 150 guests - Our legal occupancy is 225.

For The Appel Inn we are allowed 150 guests. ( Generally rule of Thumb - Mail invitations 8-12 weeks before the wedding and we recommend a RSVP date 3 weeks before your wedding. This allows you a week of telephone tag for those that did not respond and 2 weeks of knowing exactly who is attending. Do not be surprised if we see just a slightly higher number of guests not feeling comfortable traveling right now.

No Longer restrictions

Q- Is Dancing Allowed ?

They are now allowing Dancing- yes - again NYS is following CDC rules - if you are vaccinated -masks and social distancing is not required - If you are NOT VACCINATED - please wear a mask indoors and maintain social distancing - This is on the Honor System

Q- Are Masked still required ?

Again CDC and NYS - Unvaccinated guests are asked to wear masks and maintain social distancing

Q- ***Tracing list and Guest Requirements***

We will still be asking our couples for a tracing list for everyones safety - Names and contact -this is not shared unless there is a positive covid and NY health department asks for it

The safety of our guests and our wedding professionals is our top priority as weddings and events will be allowed to resume

we are developing a list of procedures that will be in place to assure that our events are safe, healthy, and still an amazing celebration.

Attending an Event -

Our ceremony site is outdoor and undercover regardless of weather, offering great personal space as well as air circulation

Inside the Gathering Space we will create as much table distance as possible

We will continue opening as many of our large windows and doors as possible while continuing the heat or air-conditioning

There are many outdoor places to relax

We are also encouraging dancing outdoors on our deck, following the guidelines
